Richard Smith

Richard Smith has held various finance and business development roles throughout their career. Richard started as a Manager at Andersens in 1995 and worked there until 2002. From 2002 to 2005, they worked at Asda as part of the Business Development team. In 2005, they joined LNT Group as a Finance Director and stayed there until 2012. Smith then moved on to Direct2Mum, where they held the position of Finance Director from 2012 onwards. Most recently, in 2018, they became the Chief Financial Officer at Social Energy.

Richard Smith attended Queen Elizabeth Grammar School in Wakefield from 1984 to 1991. Richard did not pursue a specific degree or field of study during their time there. After completing their secondary education, they enrolled at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford, from 1991 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History.
