Ayushi Sehmbi

Ayushi Sehmbi has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Ayushi currently serves as the Head of Commercial Finance at State of Play Hospitality since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Management Accountant at the same company from February 2019 to July 2022.

Before joining State of Play Hospitality, Ayushi worked at D&D London as a Commercial Accountant from January 2017 to January 2019, and as a Property Accountant from January 2015 to January 2017. Ayushi also worked at Havas Media UK as a Business Analyst from May 2014 to January 2015.

Their career started at Zeta Interactive, where they initially joined as a Revenue Administrator in March 2012 and was later promoted to the role of Senior Revenue Analyst in October 2012. Ayushi worked at Zeta Interactive until April 2014.

Ayushi's early work experience includes being a Team Leader at The Co-operative Group from July 2008 to March 2012, where they managed a shift and ensured sufficient stock availability. In addition, they served as the Managing Director of a Young Enterprise company called Butterfly Tortoise from September 2006 to August 2007, gaining insights into daily business operations.

During their time at Schlumberger, Ayushi worked as an Accounts & Assets Assistant for three summers from July 2005 to August 2007. Their responsibilities included data entry, document archiving, and filing for easy electronic access.

Ayushi Sehmbi began their education journey in 2002 at Burgess Hill School, where they completed their primary and secondary education, but did not attain any specific degree or field of study. In 2011, they enrolled at City, University of London, pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics and Accountancy. Subsequently, in 2012, they attended CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing, obtaining a CIM Professional Certificate in Marketing at Level 4. From 2015 to 2017, Ayushi pursued further education at BPP University, specializing in Accounting and Finance and obtaining a CIMA - Operational Level degree.
