Frank Bass

Frank Bass has a diverse work experience in journalism and data-driven content. Frank has held roles such as North America Editor at the Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis, Head of Content and Media Relations at Social Explorer, and Contributing Editor at MapLight. Frank also worked as a Producer/Editor for the U.S.-based projects and investigations team at Al Jazeera Media Network. Prior to that, they were a News Editor/Data at Bloomberg News, where they were responsible for enterprise stories and data-driven projects. Frank started their career as the Director of Computer Investigations at The Associated Press and worked as a Staff Writer at The Wall Street Journal.

Frank Bass completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Journalism, Spanish, and Engineering at Texas Tech University. Frank then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Arctic and Northern Studies at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, which they are expected to complete in 2024.
