Erin Thornton

Erin Thornton is an experienced professional in the field of impact investments and macroeconomic research, currently serving as the Associate Director of Impact Investments at Social Finance since October 2021. Prior to this role, Erin held positions at Morgan Stanley as a Senior Research Associate and at Eaton Vance as a Research Associate, focusing on fundamental political and macroeconomic research in Central and Eastern Europe and North Africa. Erin's career began as a Global Research Intern at Eaton Vance, with earlier roles including Projects Assistant Co-op at Liberty Square Group and Constituent Advocate Co-op for the City of Boston. Erin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Affairs from Northeastern University and participated in an exchange program at Sciences Po, where the focus was on International Relations and Economics.
