Hanna Jamal

Hanna Jamal is the current Director at Social Finance. Hanna has dedicated their career to social impact work, with experience in business planning, consulting, and strategy development. Prior to their work at Social Finance, they were a Co-founder at Urban Co-Lab, a co-working community in East Austin for social impact driven entrepreneurs and small businesses. Hanna's experience also includes working as a Portfolio Associate at Acumen Fund, where they supported the development and management of Acumen's investment portfolio in West Africa. Hanna has also worked as an Education Coordinator (Haiti Earthquake Response) and Program Associate, Education, Field Program Support at Plan International and Plan USA respectively. In addition, they have experience working as an IT Trainer for the Ministry of Education in The Gambia through VSO. Hanna Jamal's experience and dedication to social impact work makes their a perfect fit for their current role as Director at Social Finance.

Hanna Jamal received their MBA from the Texas McCombs School of Business and their MA in Anthropology with development studies from The University of Edinburgh.
