Matthew La Rocque

Matthew La Rocque is the Associate Director at Social Finance. Prior to joining Social Finance, they worked as a Program Officer on the Effectiveness Team at the S. D. From 2012 to 2013, La Rocque was a Rappaport Public Policy Fellow and Consultant at the Boston Plan for Excellence (BPE), where they provided research and analysis on education policy issues facing the city of Boston.

La Rocque has a wealth of experience in the philanthropic and nonprofit sectors, and is committed to improving social outcomes through effective policymaking and strategic grantmaking.

Matthew La Rocque holds a Master of Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from University of California, Berkeley.
