Myron Long is a prominent educational leader, serving as the Founder and CEO of The Social Justice School since 2017. Additionally, Myron Long holds fellowships at Camelback Ventures and CityBridge Education, where support is provided to underrepresented entrepreneurs and founders dedicated to intentional equity and personalized learning. Previous experience includes a fellowship at 4.0 Schools and extensive leadership roles at E.L. Haynes Public Charter School, encompassing positions as Principal, Assistant Principal, and Resident Principal as part of the New Leaders Aspiring Principals Program. Myron Long also participated in the School Retool fellowship, emphasizing innovative school culture redesign. Academically, Myron Long earned a Master’s degree in Philosophy from American University and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Political Science from Morgan State University.

Social Justice School is a revolutionary middle school located in the Ward 5 neighborhood of Washington, DC. Our mission is to catalyze an integrated community of middle school learners to be scholar-activists who are designers of a more just world. To design a more just society, our students engage in an explorative learning educational model that embraces and lives out a set of core beliefs about what it means to be human.
