Jeanie Adkins is an experienced professional with a wide range of expertise. Jeanie began their career in 2007 as a Marketing Associate at Metropolitan Contractors, Inc. In 2008, they took on the role of Development Manager at the Mautner Project. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Business Development Manager at Penngood LLC, where they worked with the executive and senior management teams to advance organizational development, business development and client delivery. Jeanie also served as a liaison to the firm's partners including non-profits, associations, corporations and government contractors. In 2014, they became a Consultant for the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Leadership Foundation, where they developed and promoted the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Resource Center. In the same year, they also began working with Tagg Magazine as a Consultant, helping with advertising sales and building strategic partnerships. In 2020, Jeanie became a Consultant for Zenit, A Radical Wellness Company, where they guided the company on growth strategy and partnerships. Jeanie is currently a Senior Researcher and Senior Strategy and Engagement Lead at Social Lens Research and a Consultant for the Anne Arundel County Public Schools Office of Equity and Accelerated Student Achievement (OEASA). In this role, they consult on LGBTQ+ initiatives across the district, creates educational sessions exploring LGBTQ+ topics, and works with school-based professionals, central office leadership, school social workers, psychologists, counselors and pupil personnel workers. Additionally, Jeanie is a Freelance Vocalist, performing Opera, Oratorio, Choral, Gospel, Broadway, and Jazz.

Jeanie Adkins obtained their Bachelor of Arts in Communication from George Mason University, with a concentration in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication. In addition, they hold two certifications: a Certified Cultural Competency Trainer (Removing the Barriers) obtained in January 2011 and a Certified Diversity Trainer (National Coalition Building Institute) obtained in May 2005.
