Barb Wilson created Social Media Marketing Matters, SM3, in January 2011 to assist businesses in the management of their social media. Her experience with the social media world began informally when she developed, incorporated, and maintained a softball page for her church’s three teams in addition to her personal pages. As interest by her and others grew, she was asked to assist a local business with some social media work. Through that work, she participated in a social media manager training program in which more than 5,000 people have been involved in and through that, SM3 was developed.
