Kris Palmer

Kristina Palmer is a Senior Associate at Social Policy Research Associates since March 2021 and has been an Instructor at Chabot College since 2017, where Kristina emphasizes American government and political science while being recognized as the Chabot Black Scholars Educator of Excellence in 2020. From 2007 to 2020, Kristina served as Senior Director at the Foundation for CA Community Colleges/Career Ladders Project, where Kristina led initiatives to improve student success and equity. Prior roles include Program Officer at The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation from 2002 to 2007, focusing on poverty alleviation grants, and Education Director/Interim Executive Director at the Bay Area Video Coalition from 2000 to 2002, where Kristina managed digital media training and fundraising efforts. Kristina holds a Master’s degree in Public and International Affairs from Princeton University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Indiana University Bloomington.
