Rose Ojo-Ajayi

Program Officer, Arts Research With Communities Of Color (arcc) at Social Science Research Council

Rose Ojo-Ajayi, PhD, currently serves as a Program Officer for the Arts Research with Communities of Color (ARCC) at the Social Science Research Council since January 2023. Prior to this role, Ojo-Ajayi held various teaching positions, including Adjunct Assistant Professor at The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art and Assistant Professor at Pratt Institute, where the focus was on African Art and the Art of the African Diaspora. Other notable positions include Assistant Professor at Bard Early College High School and Art History Assistant Professor at CUNY. Ojo-Ajayi has also contributed as an Art Instructor at Aljira and participated as a Critical Writer in Residence at the Glassell School of Art in Houston. Ojo-Ajayi earned a PhD in African Art from SOAS University of London, in addition to a Master's in Art History and a BFA in Visual Art from the same institution and The Cooper Union, respectively.
