Senior Advisor To The Chief Information Officer at Social Security Administration

Jessica Fitter has a strong background in IT and government work. Jessica started their career as an IT Specialist & Systems Analyst at the Social Security Administration in 2003, and later became a Project Manager & Team Lead for Information, Verification & Exchange Services. Jessica then served as Chief for Information, Verification & Exchange Services and Chief for Enumeration & Death Alerts before becoming Director of Business Intelligence, Analytics & Exchange. After that, they worked as Chief for Annual Wage Reporting & Balancing and Special Assistant to the Chief Information Officer. Jessica briefly served as Deputy Associate Commissioner for Enterprise Information Systems before their current role as Director of IT Investment Governance and Procurement Management. Prior to their work at the Social Security Administration, they were a Survey Statistician at the U.S. Census Bureau.

Jessica Fitter has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology and Mathematics from Boston College. Jessica also holds a High School Diploma from Mount Hebron High School. In addition, they have obtained certifications such as Excellence in Government Fellow from the Partnership for Public Service and Federal Acquisition Certification - Contracting Level I (FAC-COR) from the Federal Acquisition Institute (FAI).
