Katy Dehart

Katy DeHart is a seasoned legal professional with substantial experience in various roles within the legal field. Currently serving as a Senior Attorney Adjudicator at the Social Security Administration since November 2014, Katy has also held positions as an Attorney Advisor within the same agency. Prior experience includes roles as an Attorney at Special Counsel and LegalSource, as well as a Contract/Freelance Attorney at Owen County Circuit Court, where Katy focused on Guardian Ad Litem and Public Defense practice. Additionally, Katy served as the Marketing and Outreach Director for the Pro Bono Immigration Project, where new community outreach programs were developed. Katy's early career included a position as a Summer Clerk at the Kentucky Court of Appeals and teaching English at Colegio Bautista de Temuco. Katy earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from Indiana University Bloomington and a B.A. in Political Science with an International Emphasis from Georgetown College, along with study terms at the University of Oxford.
