Michael L. Henry

Michael L. Henry is a Senior Attorney at the Social Security Administration's Office of the General Counsel since September 2012, where responsibilities include defending disability and retirement benefits decisions in federal courts across multiple circuits, litigating civil fraud matters, and coordinating EAJA fee litigation while collaborating with the Department of Justice on Supreme Court cases. Prior to this role, Michael served as a Litigation Associate at Sugarman Law Firm, LLP, focusing on general and professional liability cases, and worked as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Massachusetts Superior Court, advising Justices and mentoring law fellows. Michael holds a J.D. from Boston College Law School and a B.A. in Journalism from Ithaca College.
