Tom Carpenter

Tom Carpenter is a seasoned professional with diverse experience across multiple fields. Currently serving as a Legal Assistant at the Social Security Administration since September 2012, Carpenter assists Administrative Law Judges with Disability Hearings and acts as the Congressional Liaison for the office. An accomplished actor with SAG-AFTRA eligibility, Carpenter has participated in print, television, and commercial roles, including a credited appearance on the ABC series "Nashville." Prior experience includes a lengthy career in aviation as a copilot and flight engineer with American Airlines and Trans World Airlines, as well as serving as a captain with Dixie Airways. Additionally, Carpenter has experience in real estate, having worked as a Realtor-Broker and Realtor Associate, and has contributed to education as a substitute teacher. Educational achievements include a Juris Doctor degree from Nashville School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee.
