Yi Meng (Lily)

Lily (Yi) Meng has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2014, they worked as a Customer Service Representative at The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc., where they focused on assessing customer needs, upselling products, and handling escalated concerns. From 2015 until 2021, they joined Zale Jewelers as a Sales Leader and Consultant, achieving high sales by leveraging data, engaging customers, and actively seeking new business opportunities. In 2020, they founded their own startup, CoCarting by Social Shopper Inc., serving as the Chief Executive Officer and overseeing the development of business strategies, fundraising, recruiting, and policy-making to meet the organization's goals.

Lily (Yi) Meng has a diverse education history with a focus on business and entrepreneurship. Lily (Yi) started their education journey at the York County Literacy Council, where they obtained their GED in General Studies in 2017. After that, they pursued an Associate Degree in Business Administration at HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College, from 2017 to 2020.

In 2020, Lily enrolled at Penn State University and pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, with a focus on Business Administration and Management. Lily (Yi) completed this program in 2021. During the same year, they also participated in the Y Combinator Startup School and obtained certification for completing the program.

Lily further enhanced their knowledge and skills in business and leadership by obtaining an Ethical Leadership Certification from NASBA Center for the Public Trust in April 2021. Lily (Yi) also completed a certification program from the Truist Leadership Institute in the same month.

In terms of additional certifications, Lily completed a Diamontology course from the Diamond Council of America in 2017.

Currently, Lily is pursuing Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies at Pennsylvania State University-Penn State Lehigh Valley, starting in 2021. Additionally, they completed the 2021 Startup Accelerator certification program at the same university.
