Kara Witten

Kara Witten has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Kara began their career in education, starting as a Teacher at Caldwell ISD in 2002. Kara then worked as a Teacher at College Station ISD from 2004 to 2006 and at Hutto ISD from 2006 to 2014. At both these positions, they were responsible for classroom teaching.

In 2014, Kara joined Round Rock ISD as a Physical Education Teacher for grades K-5. During their tenure there, which lasted until 2021, they implemented an innovative curriculum that focused on teaching physical activity through whole child development.

In 2016, Kara took a break from teaching and became the Owner of Poley and Oz Press, LLC. Kara published an Austin-themed coloring book called "Coloring Jam Austin," featuring iconic attractions, activities, and businesses in Austin, TX.

Most recently, in 2021, Kara joined Social Solutions as an Account Manager, where they currently hold a position. Before this role, they had worked at Social Solutions as a Business Development Representative from 2021 to 2022.
