Guy Battle

Guy Battle has a long and successful career in sustainability. Guy began their career in 1986 as an Environmental Engineer at Arup. In 1993, they became a Director at BattleMcCarthy Ltd. In 2006, they founded and became Director of dcarbon8 Ltd, a specialist carbon management and sustainability consultancy. In 2007, they founded and became Director of Planet Positive. From 2010 to 2014, they were the Lead Partner of Sustainability Services at Deloitte dcarbon8. In 2013, they founded The Sustainable Business Partnership, a strategic consultancy providing support to business. From 2015 to 2022, they were the Chairman of the Board at Riversimple and the Co-Chair of the Public Sector Chapter at The Sustainable Procurement Pledge. Currently, they are the Chief Executive Officer at Social Value Portal.

Guy Battle attended Wellington College, Berkshire from 1976 to 1981 and then went on to complete a Bsc (HonS) in Architecture and Building Engineering at the University of Bath from 1982 to 1986.
