James Wills ☁

James Wills has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. James started their career at Computer Sciences Corporation, where they worked as a Programmer and later as an Analyst Programmer, providing application support and troubleshooting for financial institutions in the United States and Canada. James also worked on bug fixes and implemented customer installations for the company's software.

In 2004, James joined Computer Sciences Corporation (now DXC Technology) as a Programmer Analyst, where they continued to provide application support, this time for mainframe and web-based software used by financial institutions in the UK. James also worked on development projects, including writing and packaging Java Servlets and designing bespoke applications.

From 2012 to 2013, James worked at Plymouth City Council as a Senior Application Support Analyst. James'sresponsibilities included application support, implementing upgrades, virtualized packaging and deployment, SQL scripting and coding T-SQL procedures, supporting IIS-based systems, and project technical lead for new system installations.

From 2014 to 2015, James worked as a Salesforce Developer for Surf Life Saving GB, where they maintained and added new functionality to the Salesforce system. James also worked on a major development project that involved customizing the system with Visualforce Pages and Apex Classes.

From 2015 to 2018, James worked at Experian as a Salesforce Developer. James collaborated with an international team of developers and business analysts to maintain and develop the Salesforce CRM implementation. James'srole included leading large projects, handling change requests, and incident work. James gained extensive experience in writing and updating Apex classes for triggers, Visualforce controllers, and batch classes.

In 2018, James joined oe:gen Limited as a Senior Salesforce Developer. James worked with various clients, providing Salesforce development services. James'sexpertise included Apex development, Salesforce Communities, and Lightning Aura Components.

Most recently, James Wills has been serving as a Senior Developer at Social Value Portal since May 2020. James specializes in Salesforce Lightning Experience development, focusing on Lightning Web Components and Lightning Aura Components. James works in an Agile environment and has experience with Git/Bitbucket.

James Wills ☁ has an extensive education history. In 1991, they began their undergraduate studies at Swansea University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biology, General. James completed their degree in 1994.

Afterwards, from 1995 to 1997, James Wills ☁ pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Science at Swansea University.

In 2009, James Wills ☁ attended Royal Holloway, University of London, where they studied History and obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in 2011.

Additionally, James Wills ☁ has obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include certifications such as Salesforce Certified JavaScript Developer I, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II, Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA), Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, and Salesforce.com Certified Force.com Developer. James also holds the Oracle Certified Associate Java 7 Programmer certification, Certificazione di Italiano come Lingua Straniera Livello DUE B2 from Università per Stranieri di Siena, Six Sigma Green Belt from Computer Sciences Corporation, and Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM) from the Project Management Institute.
