Katie Florence is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in strategic engagement and communication roles within regulatory and governmental organizations. Currently serving as Assistant Director – Communication, Engagement and Insight at Social Work England since May 2018, Katie leads efforts in data collection and stakeholder engagement to enhance regulatory performance. Previously, Katie held positions at the Department for Education, where as Strategic Communications Manager, Katie managed impactful campaigns to improve children's services. A background in communications and marketing was developed at various organizations, including the Children's Workforce Development Council and the NHS Information Centre. Katie holds several professional qualifications including a CIM Professional Diploma and has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Cultural Studies from Leeds Trinity University.
