David Hopkins, PMP has over 13 years of experience in the sports and marketing industry. In 2008, they began their career as a Student Representative at Wake Forest University, where they were a student athlete and a member of the Student-Athlete Committee. During their summer semester breaks, they served as a Tennis Consultant and Program Manager for the Tennis Advancement Program, where they were responsible for scouting new talent and training youth athletes. In 2013, they were hired as an Account Executive, Experiential Marketing & Brand Development at the United States Tennis Association (Southern Section). During their tenure, they were able to generate 140% attendance growth across 400 events. In 2016, they became a Professional Tennis Player on the ATP Tour, Inc., where they secured unique sponsorship contracts with Nike, Wilson Sports, and Solinco Sports. In 2017, they were hired as an Account Executive at Leverage Agency, where they managed 3 new key accounts. In 2019, they joined On Board Experiential as an Account Manager and was hired to add international sports experience to help direct the J. P. Morgan Corporate Challenge (JPMCC). Currently, they are an Associate Director at SOCIALDEVIANT.

David Hopkins, PMP has a varied educational background. In 2021, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. In 2018, they completed a M.A. in Sports Management from Columbia University, with a focus on Sports Marketing. Between 2012 and 2013, they obtained a Masters of Liberal Studies Degree from Wake Forest University, with a focus on Communications & Policy Relations in the Americas & Europe. Finally, from 2008 to 2012, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Wake Forest University, with a focus on Communication and Media Studies and Religion.
