Khi J has worked in various roles in the creative industry since 2012. In 2012, they worked as a Communications and Design Associate for the Massachusetts Nonprofit Network, a Graphic Designer for Boston Urban News, and a Graphic and Web Designer for Shaw's Supermarkets. In 2013, they worked as an Associate Designer for Adidas and a Graphic Designer for Mammoth Media. In 2017, they worked as a Designer for Mitchell & Ness Nostalgia Co. In 2018, they worked as a Creative Director for Umbro and a Freelance Art Director for Cambridge Semantics Inc. Currently, they are the Director of Communication and Creative Content for the University of Colorado Denver and a Sr. Art Director for SOCIALDEVIANT.

Khi J has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Graphic Design from the School of Visual Arts. They have also obtained six certifications from LinkedIn in 2020, including Time Management Fundamentals, Managing To-Do Lists, Outlook: Time Management with Calendar and Tasks, Scrum: Advanced, Scrum: The Basics, and What Is Scrum?
