The Socially Responsible Investment Portfolio (SRI) is the first and largest student-managed investment fund at the University of Pittsburgh looking to outperform the S&P 500. With currently over $1,000,000 in assets under management, SRI provides opportunities for students to gain active investing and valuation experience. It was created by students and faculty at the University of Pittsburgh in association with the David Berg Center for Ethics and Leadership and the Certificate in Leadership and Ethics Program. The organization's goal is to give members the opportunity to apply social responsibility along with the sound knowledge of finance in order to prepare students for careers in investment banking, investment management, consulting, sales & trading, and other competitive careers in the business industry.
