Destin Perrella currently serves as the VP of Recruitment and Membership Experience at Socially Responsible Investment Portfolio since January 2024, after holding a financial analyst role. In addition, Destin is actively involved with Delta Sigma Phi - Omega Chapter as Brotherhood Chair and Social Chair since August 2023. Previous experience includes a Practicum Student position at Valley Forge Financial Group in Summer 2024, where Destin engaged in discussions about wealth management, life insurance, retirement planning, and private equity. Additional roles have included Event Setup and Operations Assistant at Island Entertainment NYC and a Summer Intern position at Party City. Destin is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance at the University of Pittsburgh, having previously earned a Higher National Diploma from Blair Academy.

Socially Responsible Investment Portfolio
The Socially Responsible Investment Portfolio (SRI) is the first and largest student-managed investment fund at the University of Pittsburgh looking to outperform the S&P 500. With currently over $1,000,000 in assets under management, SRI provides opportunities for students to gain active investing and valuation experience. It was created by students and faculty at the University of Pittsburgh in association with the David Berg Center for Ethics and Leadership and the Certificate in Leadership and Ethics Program. The organization's goal is to give members the opportunity to apply social responsibility along with the sound knowledge of finance in order to prepare students for careers in investment banking, investment management, consulting, sales & trading, and other competitive careers in the business industry.
