Michael Huwar currently serves as Sector Head in the Real Estate Sector at Socially Responsible Investment Portfolio since September 2023. Previous roles include Junior Analyst focusing on Healthcare and Financials, coupled with internships at Seubert & Associates, Inc. and Energy Innovation Center Institute, Inc. In addition, Michael has experience from the JLL Real Estate Finance Academy, where participation in collaborative projects and market research discussions took place. Michael's internship at Bedford Management Partners involved asset valuation and research in renewable energy, while earlier work experiences include roles at Ingomar Swim Club, Diamond Run Golf Club, and Napa Prime Chophouse. Currently enrolled at the University of Pittsburgh College of Business Administration, Michael is scheduled to graduate in 2026.

Socially Responsible Investment Portfolio
The Socially Responsible Investment Portfolio (SRI) is the first and largest student-managed investment fund at the University of Pittsburgh looking to outperform the S&P 500. With currently over $1,000,000 in assets under management, SRI provides opportunities for students to gain active investing and valuation experience. It was created by students and faculty at the University of Pittsburgh in association with the David Berg Center for Ethics and Leadership and the Certificate in Leadership and Ethics Program. The organization's goal is to give members the opportunity to apply social responsibility along with the sound knowledge of finance in order to prepare students for careers in investment banking, investment management, consulting, sales & trading, and other competitive careers in the business industry.
