Jacques Farcy has held various positions throughout their work experience. Jacques began their career as a Sales Representative at Procter & Gamble in 1993 and later worked at Black & Decker, where they served as a Product Manager and then as a Retail Marketing Manager. Jacques also worked as a National Account Director at the same company. Farcy then joined Catalina Marketing, where they held the positions of Customer Marketing Group Director and European Marketing Director. After that, they joined dunnhumby canada as a Senior Client Lead and later became the Vice President for Retail Quebec and Chief Operating Officer. Farcy then moved to SAQ, where they served as the Vice President for Procurement, Marketing, and Merchandising. Jacques then held roles such as Vice President of Marketing, Digital, and Customer Insight, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, and Vice President of Sales, Operations, and Channels. Following their time at SAQ, Farcy became the President and CEO of Société québécoise du cannabis (SQDC). Currently, Jacques Farcy holds the position of President and CEO at SAQ.
Jacques Farcy obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from EMBA McGill HEC Montréal from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, in 1992, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Marketing from Université de Sherbrooke. In 1989, they completed a program in business administration, known as Programme grande école, from ICN Business School.
