Arijit Chakraborty

Arijit Chakraborty has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Arijit currently holds the position of Vice President - Head of Cyber Security Solutions & Services at Societe Generale Global Solution Centre since March 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Transformation - Global CyberSecurity Capability Centre at the same company from January 2021 to March 2023. Arijit also worked as AVP - Change and Control Management, Digital Transformation and Operational Risk Management at Societe Generale Global Solution Centre from July 2018 to January 2021.

Before joining Societe Generale, Arijit worked as the Regional Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at ALD Automotive from January 2022 to March 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Associate Director - Risk Management and Manager - Strategic Initiatives (CEO's Office) at ArisGlobal from August 2015 to July 2018.

Arijit has also worked at Altisource as a Business Operations Manager for Vendor Oversight, Internal Audit, and Risk Management from April 2015 to August 2015, and as a Practice Manager from November 2013 to March 2015. Arijit started their career at GE as part of the Information Technology Leadership Program (ITLP) from June 2012 to November 2013.

Before GE, Arijit worked at Wipro Consulting as a Management Trainee for a short period from April 2011 to June 2011. Arijit started their professional career at TCS, where they worked as a Team Lead from July 2007 to May 2010, receiving awards and recognition for their outstanding performance and commitment. Prior to that, Arijit completed a Summer Internship at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai in 2006.

Arijit obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Durgapur in 2007. In 2010, they enrolled in the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, where they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General, completing the program in 2012. Additionally, in 2011, they attended NEOMA Business School, where they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business & Relations. Arijit also holds an Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Pharmacovigilance and Clinical Research from Cliniminds, completed in 2017. Furthermore, they have obtained various certifications throughout their career, including the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor certification from The International Register of Certified Auditors (IRCA), and additional certifications in IT security, blockchain, and financial analysis.
