Paulo Lima

Paulo Lima has extensive experience in finance and risk management, currently serving as CFO at Societe Generale - Brasil since July 2006, where responsibilities include overseeing the Finance area following a split from the Risk area in February 2023. Previously, Paulo held the position of Superintendente at Bank Boston / Bank of America, managing the international loan portfolio and local investment funds from July 2004 to June 2006, and served as VP, Finance Officer at Bank of America from June 1992 to June 2004, focusing on accounting, regulatory reports, and tax planning. Paulo began a career in finance as an accountant at BBA Creditanstalt from September 1988 to June 1992. Educationally, Paulo holds a Licentiate degree in Philosophy from Centro Universitário Claretiano, an MBA in Controladoria from USP, a Bachelor in Accountancy from Faculdade Tibiriça, and a Bachelor in Economics from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo.
