Sylvain THIRY currently serves as the Global Chief Information Security Officer and Head of IT Risk Management at Societe Generale since December 2017, after holding the position of Group IT Infrastructure CISO. Prior to this, Sylvain THIRY worked at SNCF from June 2008 to November 2017, where roles included Director of Application Integration and Customer Relationship in Group Shared Services, Head of IT Governance Strategy Architecture Performance and BCM, and Group Chief Information Security Officer focused on Audit and Risk Management. Earlier experience includes being a Senior Cyber Security Consultant at Solucom from January 2001 to May 2008, and leading the creation and management of the Cyber Security department at Sinclair & Partners from June 1998 to December 2000. Additionally, Sylvain THIRY was a Cyber Security Project Manager for SFR and Crédit Agricole at Apogée Communications from June 1997 to June 1998, and managed IT and Cyber Security Integration Projects at Aenix / Ultimate from January 1995 to May 1997.
