Olivier Mergel

Olivier Mergel is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in cybersecurity and cloud solutions. Currently serving at Societe Generale as the Head of IT Security Architecture, Strategy and Cybersecurity programs for Group Infrastructure, Olivier also leads the Go To Cloud initiative and holds the position of Directeur de programme Cloud. Prior to this, experience includes roles at Orange Business Services as Directeur Cloud Solutions and Responsable Solutions & Partenaires Cloudwatt, and at Microsoft as Director of Operations and Director of Professional Services. Begins career at Capgemini as a Program Manager and Project Manager and briefly worked at DGA - Direction générale de l'armement as Scientifique du contingent. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science from Université Sorbonne Paris Nord and preparatory classes in Mathematics from Lycée Henri Poincaré.
