Craig Beazer

Craig Beazer is currently the Director at Society for Corporate Governance. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at KeyBank from January 2018 to December 2020. Craig was responsible for securities, mergers and acquisitions, governance, regulatory, enterprise commercial payments, and general corporate matters. Craig was also a member of the Executive Council and an active member of African Heritage KBING.

Before KeyBank, Craig Beazer worked at BNY Mellon from May 2012 to December 2018 as the Corporate Secretary, Deputy General Counsel, and Chief Corporate and Governance Counsel. Craig's areas of coverage included chief disclosure counsel, chief governance counsel, and executive compensation and benefits. Craig was also responsible for corporate treasury matters, including capital planning, review of required regulatory filings, and drafting and maintaining corporate policies.

Craig Beazer's other previous positions include Deputy General Counsel at Bank of America from June 2010 to May 2012, and Counsel Corporate & Securities at GE from July 2006 to May 2010. Craig started their career as a Senior Associate at McKee Nelson LLP from January 2001 to December 2002.
