Jung-Kyu McCann

Jung-Kyu McCann is currently the Director at Society for Corporate Governance. Prior to this, they served as the Associate General Counsel at Broadcom Inc. from November 2017 to August 2019. Before Broadcom, Ms. McCann was with Apple as the Senior Manager, Principal Corporate and Governance Counsel from May 2014 to November 2017. Ms. McCann began their career at Shearman & Sterling LLP as Counsel in September 1998 and remained there until May of 2014. While at Shearman, they advised companies on venture capital financings, general securities law compliance, SEC reports, disclosure, corporate governance and related matters. Ms. McCann also represented companies and underwriters in a wide range of securities transactions, including convertible debt offerings, IPOs and joint ventures. In addition, they managed, mentored and trained teams of associates in multiple geographic locations.

Jung-Kyu McCann first attended Phillips Exeter Academy, then went on to Cornell University for their Bachelor's degree. Finally, they attended Fordham University School of Law to earn their Juris Doctorate.
