Nicole Gawel

Nicole Gawel is currently the Membership Coordinator at Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics. Prior to that, they were a Volunteer Program Assistant at Ronald McDonald House of Delaware and a Barista Trainer at Starbucks. Nicole has always been interested in helping others and giving back to their community. Nicole is very organized and detail-oriented, which makes their perfect for their current role at SIAM. Nicole loves being a part of an organization that is making a difference in the world of mathematics and looks forward to continuing to help grow the membership.

Nicole Gawel attended the University of Delaware from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a bachelor's degree in women's studies and public policy with a 3.1 GPA. Nicole was also a member of Delta Gamma during their time at the university. Prior to that, Gawel attended Cab Calloway School of the Arts from 2009 to 2013.
