Dr. Jimmy Godard

Dr. Jimmy Godard has a diverse work experience. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Technology Officer at the State of Oregon. Dr. Jimmy is also the Program Delivery Director at the Society for Information Management, where they ensure the delivery of programs according to quality standards. Dr. Godard is the President of Global Compass LLC, where they deliver keynotes, workshops, and training programs to companies in various industries. Dr. Jimmy is also involved in various leadership roles, including Membership at the Global Federation of Black Speakers, Inc., President at the National Speakers Association, Oregon, and Assistant Soccer Coach at Sherwood High School. Dr. Godard has further contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at the American College of Healthcare Sciences and an Adjunct Faculty member at George Fox University. Dr. Jimmy has a strong affiliation with the Sherwood Youth Soccer League, where they have held multiple roles, including President and Head Coach. Additionally, Dr. Godard has demonstrated their expertise in the field of project management through their involvement with PMI Portland Chapter, where they have served as Business & Career Mentor, Past President, and President, overseeing strategic goals and overall operations.

Dr. Jimmy Godard has a strong education background with a focus on organizational leadership and information systems and technology. Dr. Jimmy obtained their Doctor of Management in Organizational Leadership with a specialization in Information Systems and Tech from the University of Phoenix in 2022. Prior to that, they earned an MBA in General Management from Marylhurst University in 2010. In 2005, Dr. Godard completed a Master of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Phoenix. Dr. Jimmy also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from St. Thomas University, obtained in 2002. Dr. Godard has pursued additional certifications and professional development opportunities, including certifications in project management and IT service management.
