Mark’s unique ability to build bridges between executives, chapters, members, & partners - builds a platform of trust that is leading SIM forward as a key influencer in the development of the next generation of IT leaders.

Before devoting his work fulltime at SIM, Mark was the Chief Operating Officer of CMP Management, an Association Management Company, and led the team that developed & executed a strategy that doubled the revenue & profit of the company in 5 years.

As CEO & VP of Sales of ClearCube Technology, Mark led the company which focused on Virtual Desktop Technology in High Security/High Performance environments. With clients in the US Department of Defense, International Governments and Financial Serivces, his teams delivered the largest deals in company history.

With 15 years as a Sales Leader in the networking VAR market, Mark lead the top performing sales teams serving Commercial, State and Local Government and Education segments.

Mark is a specialist in navigating complex environments – a skill he learned from his boyhood. As the youngest of 11, Mark learned quickly how to “calm the chaos” and keep a group of diverse personalities on the same page and moving forward.

Mark’s commitment to developing leaders grew from a recognition that the effect of a leader's decisions cascade to the lives of their teams, investors, clients and communities.

Mark lives in Austin, Texas with his lovely wife, Darla, and enjoys spending time with (spoiling) his five spunky granddaughters.
