Alicia Luchowski

Lead Strategist, Reproductive Health and Access at Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine

Alicia Luchowski has worked in a variety of roles in the reproductive health and access field since 1990. Alicia began their career as a Media Assistant at the Union of Concerned Scientists in 1990. Alicia then moved to Washington County (OR) Health & Human Services as a Senior Program Educator, HIV, STD, Family Planning Education in 1995. In 1997, they became a Public Affairs Coordinator at Planned Parenthood of the Columbia/Willamette. In 1998, they joined the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) as a Director, Long-Acting Reversible Contraception Program. Alicia then progressed to the role of Director, Health Care for Underserved Women, followed by Senior Director, Health Care for Underserved Women & LARC Program. Her current role is Senior Director, Strategies for Health Equity. In 2022, they will become the Lead Strategist, Reproductive Health and Access at The Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

Alicia Luchowski received their MPH in Health Behavior/Health Education from the University of Michigan in 1995. Prior to that, they obtained their BS in Communications from Cornell University in 1987. More recently, in 2021, they obtained a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education.
