Brian Anderson

Brian Anderson is a seasoned professional in risk control and firefighting with extensive experience across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Principal Committee Member for NFPA, Brian has contributed to the development of NFPA 96: Venting Systems for Cooking Appliances since April 2025. As a Senior Risk Control Representative at Society Insurance since August 2016, responsibilities include providing risk analysis and safety-oriented services to customers. Brian holds the position of Lieutenant at Lake Country Fire Rescue, actively involved in firefighting and community emergency services. Additionally, Brian has been part of various professional associations, including the Wisconsin State Fire Inspectors Association and the American Society of Safety Professionals, and has a strong educational background in Occupational and Environmental Safety and Health from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, complemented by various certifications and training from the National Fire Academy and other institutions.
