Heather Friedl

Heather Friedl is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Assistant General Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary at Society Insurance since April 2011. In this role, Heather directs the activities of outside defense counsel, oversees litigated files in Wisconsin and Illinois, and acts as defense counsel on pending cases to efficiently resolve lawsuits. Previous positions at Society Insurance include Corporate Counsel, Senior House Counsel, and Senior Claims Representative/Attorney, where responsibilities encompassed evaluating litigation claims, negotiating settlements, and preparing litigation plans. Prior to Society Insurance, Heather practiced as a Senior Associate at Morse Bolduc & Dinos, managing case files, drafting legal documents, and participating in trials. Heather's legal career began in law clerk roles at Ruskin & Cohen and Dowd & Dowd, Ltd. Heather holds a JD from DePaul University College of Law and a BA in Behavioral Science & Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
