Michelle Parrini is an experienced publications manager with a strong background in editing and public relations across various organizations. Currently serving as Publications Manager at the Society of Actuaries since April 2021, Michelle oversees publication development for digital and print products in North America, China, and the Asia Pacific. Previous roles include Editor at DRI, where improvements in publication standards were achieved, and Managing Editor at the American Bar Association, where relationships with key stakeholders were cultivated. Additional experience encompasses roles as Head of Public Relations at Vernon Area Public Library, Assistant Director at Humanities Iowa, and editorial positions at the Center for Governmental Studies and Northern Illinois University. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Iowa and a Master of Arts in American History from Northern Illinois University.
