Katya Harris is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in development and education. Currently serving as Development Manager at the Society of American Foresters since January 2023, Katya previously held the position of Director of Partnerships at the New York State Brewers Association, where work focused on creating connections between craft brewing industries and consumers through partnerships and sponsorships. Prior to that, Katya worked as Development Manager at Art Omi Inc., contributing to fundraising efforts and leading key fundraising events. In the academic realm, Katya served as an Instructor of Record at East Carolina University, teaching courses in Figure Drawing, Design, Painting, and Drawing. Katya holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Painting and Drawing from East Carolina University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine/Studio Arts and Psychology from Elmira College.
