Samantha Nicholson-Sarmiento serves as the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer at the Society of American Foresters since August 2023. Previously, Samantha worked as an Administrative Assistant at Almstead Tree, Shrub & Lawn Care Company, where responsibilities included coordinating services for C-Level Executives and managing client communications. Samantha's experience also includes roles as an Urban Farming Educator at Sprout by Design and an Invasive Species Technician for New York State Parks, where involvement included monitoring invasive species and site restoration. Additional positions held range from barista and waitress at Witches Brew Coffee House to peer tutor and horticulture intern at Farmingdale State College, displaying a diverse skill set in both customer service and environmental management. Samantha holds an Associate's degree in General Horticulture from Farmingdale State College and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Western Governors University.
