Society of Dermatology Physician Associates (SDPA)
Andrew M. Mastro, M.S., PA-C, is an experienced Physician Assistant specializing in dermatology with a diverse background in education and professional engagement. Currently serving on the Editorial Advisory Boards for both The Journal of Dermatology for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants and The Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology NP+ PA Perspectives, Andrew also holds positions as a Physician Assistant at the Illinois Dermatology Institute and Vice President of the Illinois Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Additional roles include Rising Editor and Peer Reviewer for the Journal of Dermatology Physician Assistants and participation as a CME Conference Committee Member with the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Andrew's clinical experience includes roles as a clinical preceptor at Northwestern University and Rush University, as well as work as a Sub Investigator with DeNova Research and CorEvitas, LLC. Andrew's academic credentials include a Master of Science in Physician Assistant from Rush University and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology/Marketing from Indiana University Bloomington.
Society of Dermatology Physician Associates (SDPA)
The Society of Dermatology Physician Associates (SDPA) is a 501(c)(6) non-profit professional organization composed of members who provide dermatologic care or have an interest in the medical specialty of dermatology. A mission-focused membership organization, SDPA works to advance the DermPA™ practice through knowledge, advocacy, leadership and engagement by providing high-quality educational and professional development opportunities, while advocating for a practice environment that advances patient care. Its Fellow members are PAs who provide medical services with the collaboration of a board-certified dermatologist. Founded in 1994, the SDPA currently has over 4,800 members and is the largest specialty organization in the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA).
