Devon Jones

DeVon Jones has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and industries. Most recently, they have been serving as the Accounting Director at the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS) since June 2023, where they oversee financial reporting and month-end/year-end closing procedures. Prior to this, they worked as an Accounting Manager at SDMS from July 2021 to June 2023, where they managed daily accounting functions and reconciliations.

Before joining SDMS, Jones had a long tenure at the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association, starting as a Senior Accountant in June 2008 and eventually becoming a Revenue Manager in July 2016. In these roles, they were responsible for revenue recording, reconciling, and reporting, as well as playing a key role in process improvements for the Centralized Finance Department.

DeVon Jones attended Menchville High School from 1989 to 1993. Afterwards, they pursued higher education at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from 1993 to 1997.
