Guillermo Lozano has over 40 years of experience in fire protection engineering, serving as a consultant, advisor, and educator. Currently, Guillermo is a member of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE). As Director of Lozano & Asociados, Guillermo specializes in fire protection management and has trained thousands of students in this field. Previously, Guillermo taught Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer at the Universidad Industrial de Santander and contributed to the development of a pilot plant for heavy oil upgrading at IVIC Petroleum Centre in 1974. Guillermo holds an engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Industrial de Santander, where education was completed from 1966 to 1972.
