Eric Carreras

Eric Carreras is a certified Level 3 nondestructive engineer with over 10 years of experience in the aerospace industry, currently employed at Rolls-Royce since June 2014. In addition to his engineering role, Eric has been an active member of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers since August 2008, serving as the External Vice-President for the SHPE|UIUC student chapter and as a Vice Regional Student Representative for Region VI. Eric's responsibilities included enhancing professional development for chapter members and networking with other student chapters. Earlier career experiences include engineering co-op positions at Rolls-Royce North America and an internship at Northrop Grumman Corporation, complemented by a degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
