Jennifer Espin is a dedicated civil engineer with a Bachelor's degree from Washington State University, graduating in 2022. Currently serving as a Tutor at Washington State University, Jennifer works closely with student athletes and international students to enhance their academic success. As an Ambassador for the Louis Strokes For Minority Participation program, Jennifer actively mentors 13 students and organizes workshops. In addition, Jennifer excels as a College Ambassador, providing campus tours and supporting events for prospective students. As a Peer Mentor for the WSU Team Mentoring Program, Jennifer promotes underrepresented retention in STEM fields through academic workshops. Jennifer also holds leadership roles in Engineers Without Borders and the Society of Latino Engineers and Scientists, contributing to projects addressing social challenges and organizing events. Previous internships at Kiewit and BNBuilders provided valuable hands-on experience in project engineering and field supervision.
