Michael King

Michael King is an experienced professional in public sector management and policy, currently serving as Head of Policy & External Communications and a Non-Executive Director at the Society of Local Council Clerks since January 2017. Michael has held various leadership roles, including Chairman and Vice Chairman, and is presently a Director at Smaller Authorities Audit Appointments Limited. Additional experience includes serving as Town Clerk for Whitby Town Council and Barnard Castle Town Council, and as an Associate at Solace Enterprises. Michael was also the Managing Director of The Caedmon Company, where interim management solutions were provided to public sector clients.
