Mark Wetzel

Mark Wetzel is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the plastics and engineering fields. Since January 1994, Mark has been affiliated with the Society of Plastics Engineers, serving as a Fellow since 2008 and as the SPE Extrusion Division Chair in 2010. Prior to this, Mark worked at DuPont from January 1980 to November 2016 as a Research Fellow, focusing on process research and development in extrusion, polymer processing, and formulation development. Additionally, Mark served as an instructor in Engineering Outreach at the University of Delaware from May 1998 to May 2007, where a course on Instrumentation and Data Acquisition was developed and taught. Mark holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Delaware.
