Patrick Farrey

Patrick Farrey is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the plastics and packaging industries. Currently serving as the CEO of the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) since June 2017, Patrick leads the premier technical society for the global plastics industry. In February 2023, Patrick took on the role of President at 3Dnatives, the largest international online media platform dedicated to 3D printing. Prior to these positions, Patrick was the Executive Vice President at Kellen from October 2011 to June 2017, and served as Principal at Landon, Farrey & Associates, Inc. from June 2001 to October 2011, specializing in association management. Earlier career highlights include Vice President/Principal at Independent Publishing Company, Inc., a leading publisher of packaging trade journals, and various roles within the State of Illinois government. Patrick holds a BA in Psychology from Wheaton College, earned between 1979 and 1983, and graduated from Marist High School in 1979.
