William Arendt

William Arendt is an experienced professional with over 50 years in the consulting industry, currently serving as the President and Technical Director of Arendt Consulting, Inc. since January 2018, where expertise spans adhesives, coatings, caulks, sealants, and various polymers. William has been a Vinyl Division Board Member for the Society of Plastics Engineers since 2009, concluding a term as Vinyl Division Councilor in 2019. Previous roles include Research Fellow at Emerald Kalama Chemical, LLC from 2010 to 2018 and Research Fellow at Velsicol Chemical LLC and Genovique from 1971 to 2010, with earlier positions as Plant Chemist at Transo Envelop and Project Chemist at Desoto. William holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Illinois Chicago, earned between 1965 and 1967.
